A little imagination can go a long way. This month we are going to help Marylanders reimagine how to show their love and appreciation on Valentine’s Day by helping their loved ones save money, energy, and Maryland’s climate. Maryland’s tax-free weekend for many Energy Star products runs from February 15-17, providing another hook to attract Marylanders’ interest in February, and making energy-efficient purchases more affordable.

Download the Guide, as well as other media below, including social media graphics, Facebook and Twitter content, a fact sheet, and posters in size 8.5×11 that you can print yourself, or size 11×17 that can be produced inexpensively by any copy or print facility.

Key Messages

  • Do something important for your loved ones on Valentine’s Day.
  • Shop tax-free Feb. 15th-17th for qualifying Energy Star products.
  • Show you care on Valentine’s Day with a draft detector, LED light bulbs, motion sensor light switches, a programmable/smart thermostat, or a home energy audit.
  • Find out more about Maryland Home Performance and Energy Star rebates at www.mdhomeperformance.org.
